Amicae means Friends, more than one, and doesn’t require an s.
Amica is the title given to a member of the Amicae and Friend is the title given to a member of Zeta.
The group is called an auxiliary not a chapter.
All meetings of the auxiliary require the presence of at least one Zeta.
The auxiliary sets its fees and handles its own funds, but all monies sent to the National Office for anything should be sent through the Zeta Chapter.
The pin is to be worn on the left side above the apex of the heart.
There must be a minimum of five (5) eligible women to apply for a charter or to reactivate an auxiliary.
The number of Amicae should never exceed the active number of Zetas in the community.
The Amicae shall pay dues and assessments to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. only as set forth by the National Executive Board.
The Zeta Amicae colors are light blue and royal blue.
The flower is the white carnation.
